As a Patrol Armed Officer supporting a government location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas with a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and provided resources.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including perimeter and designated areas.
• Monitor for suspicious activity or unauthorized individuals and help to deter potential security-related incidents.
• Assist with access control by verifying identification and credentials as required at the location.
• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency responders as directed and/or necessary.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
• Follow all Allied Universal and client site policies, procedures, and protocols related to armed patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience using handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
