As a Security Officer - Cultural Institution Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a renowned cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment. Your visible presence and regular patrols help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver outstanding customer service to guests and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor the premises and report any suspicious behavior or situations to site management and/or law enforcement as required.
• Maintain a visible presence within the location to assist visitors, guests, and staff with security-related concerns.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to support a secure and welcoming environment for all occupants and visitors.
• Document and report all incidents, activities, and irregularities according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
