Job Description


As a Security Guard - Unarmed Auto Patrol Driver in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Officer in an auto industry location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This position requires driving as part of your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies at the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the automotive facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any security-related incidents or hazards to supervisory staff as required.
  • Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcing site rules and regulations.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
  • Document activities and incidents in detailed written reports as requested by the location.
  • Support emergency response activities and provide assistance to first responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
