As a Security Officer – Hospital Response Agent in Clairton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location, including responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, property damage, or suspicious activity, to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entries and exits at the location, verifying credentials when required, and interacting with staff, patients, and visitors in a professional manner.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and site requirements.
  • Support emergency response protocols by providing assistance during drills, evacuations, or medical emergencies as directed by onsite management or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Vaccines are required for hospital positions.
  • Working in the hospital morgue is required.
  • Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
