As a Security Officer - Armed Flex Transportation Patrol in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents in a dynamic transportation environment. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. This armed position involves interacting with the public, providing outstanding customer service, and addressing security-related concerns as they arise. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and following protocols as required for an armed patrol post.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any irregularities.
  • Monitor access points and observe activities around the site to help to deter potential threats or prohibited actions.
  • Maintain awareness of the environment and communicate observations and/or incidents to the appropriate personnel as directed.
  • Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or travelers, providing assistance or direction when needed while upholding Allied Universal standards.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, activities, and/or irregularities according to established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An Armed Guard Card or License is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
