As a Security Professional -  Retail Center Patrol - Full Time in Central Valley, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, interacting with guests and staff, and delivering outstanding customer service while upholding our commitment to teamwork and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment within the retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail store and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or security-related breaches to the appropriate personnel and/or management.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, and verifying credentials when needed.
• Offer guidance and assistance to customers, employees, and visitors as required, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management specific to the retail environment.
• Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining awareness of merchandise and helping to deter theft or vandalism.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
