Job Description


As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Tucson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will be responsible for regularly patrolling assigned areas and providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This role involves primarily driving throughout the property, interacting with tenants and visitors, and delivering excellent customer service while upholding our core values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the commercial real estate location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and general activity within the commercial real estate premises to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Complete detailed reports of observations and incidents during assigned shifts, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with property management and/or local law enforcement when necessary, while maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Assist with access control and visitor management in accordance with client site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • This is primarily a driving post, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
