Job Description


As a Security Officer in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service while monitoring and patrolling a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. This primarily driving post requires you to maintain a visible presence throughout the property, respond promptly to incidents, and communicate clearly with clients and visitors. You will join a team that values integrity, innovation, and teamwork, putting people first in every interaction. A valid driver's license is required for this position.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the location, including responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a secure environment.
  • Monitor access points and report any irregularities or suspicious behavior observed during patrols or while stationed at the location.
  • Work closely with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives to communicate security-related concerns and updates.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities encountered during patrols.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, including directing individuals in the event of an evacuation or similar scenario.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptions or unauthorized behavior within the tech, media, and telecom environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
