Job Description


As a Security Professional - Mall Patrol Driver in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting visible patrols throughout a vibrant retail and mall location. This primarily driving post gives you the opportunity to interact with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to a welcoming environment. Your presence and attention to detail will support a secure atmosphere while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols inside the location and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel or management.
  • Support the enforcement of location rules and guidelines to promote a welcoming environment for visitors.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all incidents, activities, and observations during shifts.
  • Collaborate with location staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and concerns as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Primarily driving post is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
