Job Description


As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver in Horicon, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic industrial and manufacturing location. By conducting regular patrols, remaining visibly present, and responding promptly to incidents, you will help to deter security-related concerns and provide outstanding customer service to everyone onsite. Your role will include driving responsibilities, requiring a valid driver's license. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible presence.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, checking for proper identification and compliance with site procedures.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control and visitor management, maintaining logs as required by site policy.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents or site needs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Previous access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Previous alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
