Job Description


As a Security Professional - Defense Patrol in Titusville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout assigned areas. You will interact with personnel and visitors to provide exceptional customer service and support, while assisting with access control and other security-related responsibilities. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor access points within the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors on-site to provide assistance and information as needed.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to address security-related needs and concerns specific to the aerospace and defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
