What You'll Do:

• Assist with access control procedures at the location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry points to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Provide customer service by communicating in a professional manner with visitors, employees, and/or contractors entering or leaving the premises.
• Follow site-specific policies and protocols related to access control, reporting any security-related incidents or suspicious activity as instructed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established protocols and requesting emergency assistance when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols within the business and around the perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and promote a secure environment.
• Document and report all security-related activities, incidents, and/or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent as required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
