As a Security Professional - Aero Patrol in Titusville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within an aerospace and defense location. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and, when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, assisting as needed in accordance with protocols for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe for any unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the aerospace and defense environment, reporting any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in an accurate and timely manner as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
  • Support access control efforts, verifying credentials and assisting employees and/or visitors as they enter or leave the location.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a welcoming atmosphere for employees and/or visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
