As a Security Professional – Tech Facility Patrol Driver in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a cutting-edge tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and proactive approach will contribute to a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter potential incidents and/or suspicious activity, with working environments and conditions varying based on the location.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as directed.
• Work collaboratively with location staff and visitors to maintain a secure environment and support site-specific requirements.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and/or exits during patrols as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
