Job Description


As a Security Officer - Unarmed Healthcare Patrol in O Fallon, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will help maintain a secure environment by conducting regular patrols throughout the location and remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role will include providing outstanding customer service and clear communication to both staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential disruptions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas to observe for unusual activity while maintaining a visible presence on the property.
  • Complete reports and documentation of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by the site.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns or situations.
  • Provide information and assistance to visitors and employees while maintaining professional conduct at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
