As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver CRE in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This is an armed and driving position, where you will interact with tenants and visitors, uphold high standards of customer service, and respond to incidents as needed. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and integrity, contributing to a caring culture that puts people first while delivering innovative and dependable service.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering the premises.
  • Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and other documentation as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management, site staff, and local law enforcement when needed.
  • Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter and respond to security-related concerns.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing Allied Universal at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
