As a Security Officer - Front Desk CRE in Metairie, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will serve as the first point of contact, providing a welcoming and professional presence. Your role involves monitoring access, assisting visitors and tenants, and maintaining detailed records while helping to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor access to the building, verifying identification and visitor credentials as required.
• Assist with incident response and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Document and report security-related incidents, concerns, and/or unusual activity according to company and site guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with building tenants, guests, and Allied Universal management as needed.
• Respond to requests for information or assistance from tenants, visitors, and staff at the front desk.
• Support emergency response activities in accordance with site-specific protocols and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
