What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately during emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to assist with resolution and support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, both inside the premises and around the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, activity, or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Support access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and assisting with crowd management as needed.
• Document all patrols, incidents, and activities in detailed and accurate reports as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary to address incidents or emergencies at the location.
• Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor while interacting with clients, store staff, and the public during assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidates must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
