As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment at a major food and beverage location. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized personnel.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, responding to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents, being attentive to the unique considerations of a food and beverage environment.
• Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related hazards on site to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Assist with emergency response activities and follow established protocols as directed by Allied Universal and/or the client.
• Maintain accurate logs and detailed incident reports according to Allied Universal and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
