As a Security Officer - Aero Patrol - Security Clearance in Gilbert, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for all personnel and assets. By conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible, you help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, collaborating with site personnel and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
  • Maintain awareness of the unique environment and requirements of an aerospace and defense location, adapting patrol and observation practices accordingly.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with site staff, visitors, and/or contractors to provide guidance and support related to site policies and procedures.
  • Participate in site-specific training and adhere to all regulations and standards relevant to the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
