As a Security Professional - Government Patrol Driver in ORLANDO, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, offering outstanding customer service, and communicating clearly with those you encounter. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for driving while on duty. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, unusual circumstances, or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and site representatives.
  • Follow all post orders and Allied Universal protocols for government facilities, including procedures for lost and found items, property removal, and visitor management.
  • Assist first responders and support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal management or site leadership.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
