As a Security Officer - Auto Patrol Rounds FT in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your presence will contribute to the overall well-being of the site, while you interact with individuals and provide outstanding customer service. You will also respond to incidents, support access control processes, and utilize technology to document activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by executing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, responding to situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions in and around the auto industry location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents.
• Work closely with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related issues as they arise.
• Support emergency response activities in accordance with established protocols for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
