Job Description


As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver in Manson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a government location. This role involves interacting with the public, upholding access control, and providing outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for both armed and driving duties, making this an engaging opportunity for those who are committed to helping create a secure environment while embodying Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as required by site policy.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the location.
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident reports as required by site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed in response to incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor while interacting with staff, visitors, and/or contractors at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
