As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver in Manson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a government location. This role involves interacting with the public, upholding access control, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as required by site policy.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the location.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports as required by site procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed in response to incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor while interacting with staff, visitors, and/or contractors at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
