As a Security Guard - Unarmed Post in Milwaukee, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol retail and mall locations to help create a secure environment for visitors and staff. Your visible presence during routine patrols helps to deter security-related incidents, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and communication enhances the experience for everyone on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the retail or mall location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate parties.
• Work closely with retail staff and other personnel to address concerns and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
