As a Security Officer - Financial Facility Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a financial institution location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence and attentive patrols help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will interact with visitors and staff, respond to incidents, and address inquiries with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify any potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns as per Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior within the location.
• Document all incidents and/or occurrences according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
