As a Security Officer - CRE Patrol Security Clearance in Chantilly, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol the premises to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, engage with tenants and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication at all times. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting as needed in accordance with site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter, observing for any irregularities or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activities within the location.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, patrols, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with property management, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding any issues or concerns encountered on site.
  • Support the overall security-related operations of the commercial real estate environment by adhering to established procedures and protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
  • CPR Certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
