What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting designated areas.
• Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and/or drivers with inquiries related to access procedures and site-specific protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns or unusual activity.
• Follow site-specific policies, including procedures for deliveries and shipments.
• Document and report security-related incidents and/or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, maintaining clear communication with site personnel and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
