As a Security Officer - Access Control in West Jefferson, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols to maintain a secure environment. You will remain highly visible, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials and permitting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized entry, theft, and/or other security-related incidents.
• Provide customer service by answering questions, offering directions, and assisting individuals as needed while maintaining security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations throughout the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established Allied Universal procedures and site-specific guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to observe for unusual activity and help to deter security-related risks.
• Complete accurate and detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
• Work collaboratively with site management and other personnel to address security-related concerns and promote a secure environment within the logistics and distribution setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
