As a Security Guard - Auto Patrol Driver Unarmed in Normal, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at this automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible throughout assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents. You will engage with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in an automotive location, including responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols for automotive environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and parking areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or suspicious behavior within the automotive location.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of all patrols, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Collaborate with onsite personnel and law enforcement as necessary to address security-related concerns and/or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or guard license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
