What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors as per site-specific procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity within the manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by responding to inquiries and offering assistance as needed.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to maintain a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as directed by site protocol.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and maintenance needs according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Assist emergency responders and follow emergency response activities when appropriate, in accordance with established guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Experience working at limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
