What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to guests and visitors at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials and/or identification of individuals entering the premises.
• Assist with managing visitor logs and issuing visitor passes as per site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk area in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Communicate professionally with clients, guests, and Allied Universal team members to address inquiries and security-related concerns.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following established procedures for the location.
• Maintain awareness of the front desk environment to help to deter unwanted activity and/or potential threats.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
