As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will actively patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide a visible presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas, addressing any suspicious behavior or potential security-related threats.
• Assist with access control and/or visitor verification as directed by site procedures.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Collaborate with retail staff and management to help to deter loss, prevent disturbances, and support a secure environment for employees and customers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification required for Texas.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
