As a Security Officer- Armed Retail Site Patrol - Full Time in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer at this retail location, you will conduct regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to customers and staff. This armed and driving post requires you to respond promptly to situations, provide outstanding customer service, and maintain clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and around its perimeter, maintaining a visible security-related presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Remain alert to potential threats and report any unusual circumstances or activities to appropriate personnel and/or law enforcement as needed.
• Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor while interacting with employees, customers, and visitors.
• Follow protocols for carrying and responsibly handling firearms while on duty, in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with store management and Allied Universal leadership to address site-specific concerns and support overall objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidates must have a minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III armed certification is required for Texas positions only.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
