As a Security Professional - Patrol Driver in Decatur, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols help to deter security-related incidents while delivering excellent customer service and clear communication. This role requires driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license in the job state is necessary. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately during emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial facility, including the perimeter and interior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any unusual conditions, incidents, or suspicious activities encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors at the location as needed.
• Follow all protocols related to access control, monitoring of entry and exit points, and verification of credentials within the facility.
• Assist with emergency response activities in accordance with established procedures, when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
