As a Security Officer - Patrol - Manufacturing in Commerce, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a manufacturing and industrial location to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible to visitors and staff, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Monitor the manufacturing and industrial environment for unusual activity and report concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in controlling access to the location, verifying credentials as needed, and interacting with employees, visitors, and/or contractors.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities and any incidents that may occur during the shift.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding security-related matters or incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with alarm panels, CPR and first aid, access control or badge systems, and x-ray screening is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
