What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall security-related needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure atmosphere.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons within the premises.
• Collaborate with store staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and contribute to a positive experience for clients and shoppers.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of patrols, incidents, and interactions as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• One or more of the following is required: at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
