What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Work closely with property management and building occupants to address concerns and provide assistance as required.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, patrols, and incidents as required by site procedures.
  • Operate and monitor access control systems and/or surveillance equipment in accordance with site requirements.
  • Remain visible and approachable to tenants, visitors, and staff to help to deter unwanted activity and foster a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
