As a Security Guard - Retail Mall Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at this retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and tenants. This is a driving post, so you will use your driving skills to conduct thorough patrols throughout the property. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the retail or mall location by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail or mall property in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the interior and exterior of the retail or mall location to promote a secure environment and help to deter inappropriate activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities as directed.
• Assist with access control procedures, monitor entry and exit points, and interact professionally with tenants, customers, and staff.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation as required by Allied Universal and the site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
