As a Security Guard - Unarmed Driver - Full Time in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a PATROL_UNARMED officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol the location within the food and beverage industry, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. By conducting routine patrols and staying visible, you will contribute to a secure atmosphere for all visitors and employees. This is a driving post, so you will also be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food and beverage facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance needs within the location.
• Work closely with facility staff to support a secure and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while interacting with people throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
