As a Security Professional - Media Patrol Full Time in Aurora, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a dynamic tech-focused location. You will remain highly visible, provide exceptional customer service, and serve as a helpful resource for those on-site. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the site and perimeter of the location, which may include technology, media, and telecom facilities.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity, reporting any concerns according to site protocols.
  • Observe and report security-related irregularities such as property damage, theft, or unusual situations to Allied Universal management and/or site personnel.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to maintain a welcoming environment.
  • Document all incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
  • Remain flexible to adapt to changing environments and conditions as needed at the assigned location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
