As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Control in Prosperity, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring access points, checking credentials, and operating badge systems and alarm panels. What You'll Do:

  • Control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors entering the premises.
  • Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activities.
  • Provide customer service by greeting and assisting individuals in accordance with site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
  • Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help observe and report any irregularities.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and site staff regarding security-related matters as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
