As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol - Part Time in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in retail and mall environments by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with the public, deliver outstanding customer service, and handle situations with professionalism and integrity. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while representing Allied Universal.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other unwanted behavior.
  • Assist customers, staff, and visitors with security-related concerns and inquiries as needed.
  • Document incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client guidelines.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related issues throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Level III armed certification is required for roles in Texas.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
