Job Description


As a Security Officer - Retail Driving Role in Holly Hill, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in a retail and mall environment, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. This driving post requires a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for patrolling multiple locations within the property. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication, supporting a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following appropriate protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and around its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for unusual conditions.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including guiding customers and staff during incidents.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities encountered during patrols.
  • Support loss prevention efforts by remaining alert to potential theft or unauthorized activities within the location.
  • Collaborate with site management and law enforcement when required to address security-related situations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
