As a Security Officer - Facility Patrol Driver in Appleton, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide valuable assistance to employees and visitors. This role also requires driving responsibilities as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the aerospace and defense location, including interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Observe and report any irregularities, unusual circumstances, or security-related incidents to the appropriate parties.
• Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with access control processes and provide information as needed.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident and daily activity reports as required by Allied Universal and client policies.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings during patrols to help to deter potential risks or threats within the location.
• Follow all company and location-specific protocols for handling security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
