Job Description


As a Security Officer - Facility Patrol Driver in Appleton, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide valuable assistance to employees and visitors. This role also requires driving responsibilities as part of your patrol duties. You will have the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with all site personnel, and uphold the Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, and teamwork as you support a people-first culture with integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.44 / Hour

Must be 21+ years of age and must have a valid driver's license

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the aerospace and defense location, including interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, unusual circumstances, or security-related incidents to the appropriate parties.
  • Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with access control processes and provide information as needed.
  • Complete detailed and accurate incident and daily activity reports as required by Allied Universal and client policies.
  • Remain alert and aware of surroundings during patrols to help to deter potential risks or threats within the location.
  • Follow all company and location-specific protocols for handling security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
