Job Description


As a Security Officer – Manufacturing Site Patrol Driver in Brookwood, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. This primarily driving position involves routine patrols of the premises, maintaining a visible presence to support a secure environment, and providing exceptional customer service and communication to all individuals onsite. A valid driver's license is required for this mobile post.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe for irregularities.
  • Document and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or property damage encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management and on-site personnel to relay important information and coordinate response efforts as needed.
  • Assist with controlling access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entrance and exit points.
  • Support in maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Primarily driving post is preferred.
  • Limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shack is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
