As a Security Guard – Manufacturing Site Patrol Driver in Brookwood, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will be responsible for conducting routine vehicle and/or foot patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to those onsite. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential hazards or issues.
• Monitor access points and report any suspicious activity or unauthorized access to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.
• Work collaboratively with site staff and law enforcement when required to address incidents or emergencies.
• Adapt to varying working environments and conditions specific to the manufacturing and industrial setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Primarily driving post is preferred.
• Limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
