Job Description


As a Security Guard – Manufacturing Site Patrol Driver in Brookwood, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will be responsible for conducting routine vehicle and/or foot patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to those onsite. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You will engage with employees and visitors, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication, all while upholding Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations as directed by Allied Universal.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential hazards or issues.
  • Monitor access points and report any suspicious activity or unauthorized access to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with site staff and law enforcement when required to address incidents or emergencies.
  • Adapt to varying working environments and conditions specific to the manufacturing and industrial setting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Primarily driving post is preferred.
  • Limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
