As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control protocols.
• Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access to the distribution facility.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, both inside the facility and around the perimeter.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols as needed.
• Document all security-related activities, observations, and incidents according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Communicate professionally with logistics staff, visitors, and delivery personnel to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
• Operate access control systems and other security-related technology to monitor the flow of personnel and vehicles.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to maintain a visible presence and help to deter potential risks or disruptions within the logistics environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
