As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Driver Government in Butner, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a government location. Your duties will include conducting routine armed patrols and driving throughout assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and/or activities, reporting any concerns according to established protocols.
• Check access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas at the location.
• Collaborate with on-site personnel and law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or any unusual occurrences.
• Adhere to all company and client protocols while representing Allied Universal in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
