Job Description


As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver Government in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to the public. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service while upholding the highest levels of professionalism. This role requires you to be armed and to operate a vehicle on site, combining your presence and expertise to support a secure environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide excellent customer service by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
  • Carry out regular and random armed patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies as they arise.
  • Observe and report irregularities, such as security breaches, hazards, or unauthorized persons, according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Work closely with site management and local law enforcement as needed for incident resolution.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential incidents and provide reassurance to those on site.
  • Document all activities, incidents, and/or suspicious behaviors in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations while carrying out armed security-related duties at a government location.

*Must have (No Exceptions): 

  • Active driver’s license 
  • Valid Florida Security License D License and G License

     and at least ONE of the following:

  • U.S. Military Service (DD214 Honorable Discharge); or
  • Police/Corrections Academy Certification (U.S. only with Certificate); or
  • Associate's Degree (60 College Credits on Official Transcripts
