As a Security Professional - Industrial Patrol Driver in Elkton, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone on site. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and interact with employees and visitors to provide exceptional customer service. This position requires a valid driver's license as you may be assigned to driving duties on location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and attentive patrols.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and/or visitors to address security-related concerns in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
